Tea Tree Essential Oil Benefits
Tea Tree Oil provides powerful antiseptic and anti-fungal benefits and has traditionally been used to help fight infections and clear skin conditions. This colourless/pale yellow oil originates from Australia and New Zealand trees and shrubs. Tea Tree oil is now also used widely in aromatherapy and has an underlying warm nutmeg scent. Inhaling the oil is also believed to help in the treatment of coughs and colds.

Tea Tree Essential Oil Uses
Fragrance - For a relaxing fragrance, add 4 to 5 drops of Tea Tree oil in a burner for approx. 20 minutes.
Massage - Blend 4 to 5 drops of Tea Tree oil in 10ml of carrier oil. Use 2 to 3 drops for the elderly or children.
Bathing - Add 6 drops of Tea Tree oil to the bath, or blend with a carrier oil for added moisture.
Topical Application - Dab a single diluted drop of Tea Tree oil daily onto the affected area of the skin.

With essential oils a little can go a long way. As essential oils are highly concentrated, many people choose to combine them with carrier oils for topical uses. Carrier oils act as emulsifiers, which help to blend the oils together and aid dispersion.
