What is Celadrin®?
Celadrin® is a patented blend of Cetylated Fatty Acids (CFA’s) that is thought to help lubricate cell membranes and keep joints in top condition. This formula has been developed to offer quick and effective relief from joint pain.
A closer look at the evidence
Preliminary trials have shown that Celadrin® may help to reduce pain and inflammation. During a placebo controlled study, patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis took Celadrin® daily over an 8 week period. Their pain levels and range of motion were recorded at the start of the trial, and again after 2, 4 and 8 weeks. On these dates, patients underwent extensive functional evaluations to measure their pain levels when completing daily activities, such as climbing stairs.
At the end of the trial, all patients who had been supplementing with Celadrin® experienced significant improvements in their range of motion and pain levels, when compared to placebo groups.Researchers concluded that Celadrin® may offer “a convenient alternative to the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of osteoarthritis”.
